In Goodwood Revival, held in Goodwood Motor Circuit between 18-20 September 2026, the fully electric five-person sports fastback model A390 is a art object beyond being a car. This special A390, produced by one piece, was launched with London-based creative director, artist and music maker Trevor Jackson, which invited to reinterpret the design language of the brand from the automotive world.
Jackson, who worked without limit recognition between art, music, fashion and visual culture in his career for more than a century, worked with its own visual language on the surface of A390. The Alpine Design Director Antony Villain defines this business union with words “There is a rare ability to protect a very clear perspective while moving freely between the disciplines of Trevor”; the result according to Villain adds a “a fresh cultural perspective” to the Alpine design.
The art car is not alone in the presentation in Goodwood: Alpine Lacoste A290 Rallye is a race-specific A110 Berlinette and today’s A110 model of the brand is at the same stage. This outlet for Alpine is a quiet but clear indicator of positioning effort as an independent cultural expression format, passing beyond speed and performance expression, from a concept promotion.
