Apple’s Folding Leap: The First Launch of the New Era

Apple introduced both the first foldable iPhone in the “Surprise and Shine”-themed autumn event and signed the company’s first major product launch from the 15-year Tim Cook era. On the watch side Apple moved a step further into health tracking: a pulse measurement every 5 seconds, the new “Health Age” (health age) and “Readiness” (to be used) scores, Siri Recap summarizing voice notes and the Live Rewind feature that rewinds the last 15 seconds. Ceramic and titanium body options are also added to the cathode.

The new AirPods 5 promises a 50% improvement and 4 hours of listening while ANC is open. Prices in the range of 129-149, on sale at 17 September.

The new software version announced in the event will be available on iOS 27, 14 September Monday.

Apple’s move in this season is not just a “first” — a corporate generation change.
