Italian shipyard ISA Yachts has unveiled the newest member of its “Large Yacht Collection” design series, dedicated to large-scale custom superyachts: the 86-metre Poseidon. Operating under the Palumbo Superyachts group, the yard follows its Amarcord 82, Amarcord 86 and Essence 82 concepts with an even bigger vision.
Poseidon’s exterior and interior design carries the signature of Enrico Gobbi and TEAM for Design, while naval engineering is handled by ISA Yachts’ own technical team. With a beam of 12.8 metres, the vessel is designed with a high-strength steel hull and aluminium superstructure, accommodating 12-14 guests across 6-7 cabins and up to 18 crew in 10 cabins.
Two pools stand out in the concept: a glass-covered, T-shaped pool with a whirlpool section aft on the main deck, and a forward-facing swimming pool on the upper deck. The beach club on the lower deck features folding side platforms, a sea-facing lounge, a bar and a glass-edged whirlpool tub, alongside a wellness area with a gym, sauna and steam room. A touch-and-go helipad sits forward on the upper deck, with a 14-seat alfresco dining area aft.
A panoramic salon and a sky lounge with a jacuzzi on the bridge deck complete Poseidon with an owner’s deck offering 360-degree views. The design targets a range of roughly 5,000 nautical miles at a 12-knot cruising speed, with a top speed of 17 knots; Poseidon is presented for now as a design vision, with no construction timeline yet announced.
