Thalassa, the Kaag shipyard of the Netherlands, is the last creation of 80 meters recognized by Feadship’s 826 project numbers. The outer lines add a new layer to the Malcolm McKeon, the inner spaces belong to the Milan-based M2Atelier, the boat adds a new layer to the design language, which tells a little word of the brand. With the expression of Jan-Bart Verkuyl’s Director of Feadship, “This yacht represents a new piece of design in Feadship story and continues to see this view. ”
The boat is home to a beach club of 165 square meters with a landscape of two floors and 180 degrees; 6,4 meters of glass floor pool on the main deck is one of the signature details of the ship. A winter garden, which can be converted with folding glass panels, is a multi-purpose area that combines the function of pickleball court with pruvada helicopter track, and a folding terrace yoga section brings Thalassa not only a seacraft, but a moving living space.
Thalassa, ready for long routes with its range reaching to the maximum speed of 16 knots and the 5,500 marine spindles in 12 knots, reveals both aesthetic and technical preferences using straight Starlink receivers instead of standard satellite domes. The quiet engineering understanding of Feadship once again appears in this period in which Monaco Yacht Show was on the agenda: a luxury that doesn’t stand out but felt in every detail.
