Within the scope of London Design Festival, the iconic gross structure came together with furniture brand MADE with Barbican Centre. The common collection of 23 parts is inspired by the original apartment interiors of the building’s die-tracked concrete surfaces, tik wood choppers and Miriam Howitt from 1960s.
Hot wood tones, sculpture geometric forms and architecturally compatible with a color palette of parts, from showing the gross inheritance of the grosseist, a day-looking language. The collection from furniture to lighting, from textiles to accessories is designed with the goal of creating a complete range of products that work both individually in a open living area.
An immersive installation held in Barbican Centre between 12-20 September is transferring the architectural inspiration of the business union to visitors. The collection of MADE’s “make it accessible for everyone” vision offers a unique reading that carries the quiet power of grossism to everyday life.
