Alexander McQueen has been turning to London Fashion Week on September 20 by leaving the podium calendar in Paris for years. Creative Director Seán McGirr’s first time for the brand, this show will present the Spring 2027 collection in the heart of British creativity, in the birthplace of the brand.
Gianfranco D’Attis, CEO of the Brand, explains that this return is “the place where we started our history, London continues to stay in the center of our identity”. The British Fashion Council’s CEO Laura Weir emphasizes that McQueen’s return is a statement of trust that is most bold and unique to its ‘British creativity’.
McGirr states that the collection’s sharp tailoriness brings together women and men’s clothing with special invitation clothes from the brand’s signature, and London’s creative vision draws gold. This return to the city of McQueen, which moved to Paris, is a quiet yet stable identity statement.
