Bvlgari Spring-Summer 2027 Leather Goods: From Jewel to Bag with the Serpenti 1968

For Spring-Summer 2027, Bvlgari continues to translate its high-jewellery language into leather goods. Across the Serpenti and Tubogas lines, the Maison’s icons evolve through new silhouettes, while vivid gemstone-inspired colours, precious leathers and hand-enamelled details define the collection.

The star of the season is the new Serpenti 1968. Its origins go back to a design Mary Katrantzou imagined for her first collaboration with Bvlgari in 2021, before she became the Maison’s Creative Director of Leather Goods and Accessories. Inspired by the legendary 1968 Serpenti jewellery watch, it features a sculptural metal handle evoking the snake’s coiled body and a magnetic snake-head closure. Swap the handle for a bolder Cobra chain and the elegant top-handle becomes a striking shoulder bag. Chalcedony Blue, Almandine Garnet, Perla White and black calfskin versions arrive in February 2027.

Inspired by the Serpenti Harlequin jewellery watch, the Serpenti Cuore 1968 comes in Almandine Garnet with its hand-enamelled snake handle and sculptural heart silhouette; the handle features five enamel shades: black, Feroza Turquoise, Ruby Red, Flash Diamond and Smeraldo Prezioso. Expanding the evening offer, the Serpenti Cuoricino arrives in February in Chalcedony Blue calfskin and in May in a Silver Neige Pavé Crystal version sparkling with more than 4,300 Swarovski crystals, around 1,000 of them applied by hand in the final stage of production.

The Serpenti Forever family grows with two new silhouettes: the Medium Top Handle, a more architectural take on the Maison’s signature day bag, and the elongated Medium Shoulder Bag. The Elongated Top Handle returns this season in a new Jadeite shade. Serpenti Forever models will launch in two drops, in February and May 2027.
