Capella Hotel Group has achieved the strongest result in its short history by placing three of its properties in The World’s 50 Best Hotels 2026 list. Capella Bangkok rises to second place, Capella Sydney ranks sixteenth, and Patina Osaka takes thirty-third.
Capella Sydney also wins the title of Best Hotel in Oceania for the second consecutive year, while Patina Osaka, which opened its doors in May 2025, enters the list for the first time and receives the Nikka Award for Best New Hotel. The results, announced at a ceremony at Les Salles du Carrousel in Paris, reinforce the group’s position in one of the most closely watched rankings in the hospitality world.
The group’s global growth strategy relies less on numerical expansion than on repeating the same quiet perfection at every address. Three hotels on three continents standing out in the same list can be read as the most tangible proof of Capella’s philosophy: ‘consistency within locality’.
