Overmarine Group’s new brand Icona has collected its first award with its very first model. Icona 70 was named Best Exterior Design in the 19.5–24 metre category at the World Yachts Trophies 2026 in Cannes. After its world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival, the yacht went on to the Monaco Yacht Show and the Genoa International Boat Show, held from 1 to 6 October.
Inspired by the Mangusta heritage but positioned separately from the Mangusta range, Icona’s exterior is the work of Igor Lobanov, who also handled interior styling, ergonomics and the helm layout. The hull was developed by Overmarine’s technical department together with Studio Arnaboldi.
Around 21 metres long, Icona 70 has a 6.2-metre beam that widens to more than 9 metres when its folding side wings are deployed. With up to 2.85 metres of headroom in the main living areas, the yacht offers a full-beam owner’s suite, a VIP cabin, a twin cabin and separate captain’s quarters, plus a concealed side garage for a jet tender of around 3.45 metres.
Two propulsion options are available: three 800 hp Volvo Penta D13 engines for a top speed of around 30 knots, or three optional 1,000 hp Volvo Penta D13 IPS1350 units for around 36 knots.
