Spanish luxury house Loewe, under creative directors Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, has named French-American filmmaker, actor and writer Eva Victor as its new global brand ambassador. The appointment continues a pattern at Loewe of favouring distinctive creative voices — following Julia Garner, Spike Fearn and Phuwin — over conventional celebrity faces.
Paris-born Victor’s directorial debut, “Sorry, Baby,” which she also wrote and starred in, premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival and won the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award; it went on to win Best Screenplay at the 2026 Independent Spirit Awards, while Victor’s performance earned a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress in a Drama. Her next project, Tony Gilroy’s ensemble drama “Behemoth!,” co-starring Pedro Pascal, Olivia Wilde and Will Arnett, was the Centerpiece presentation at the New York Film Festival on October 2, 2026, with a theatrical release set for December 4, 2026.
“I feel euphoric about working with Loewe,” Victor said of the collaboration. “Jack and Lazaro and the whole team create such fresh, sexy, vibrant, one-of-a-kind moments.” McCollough and Hernandez, for their part, described Victor as having “a creative energy that refuses to stay still.” The appointment is part of the house’s strategy, under its first shared creative direction since taking over from Jonathan Anderson, to raise its cultural and cinematic visibility.
