Maiora, the historic brand of Italy’s Next Yacht Group, once again takes centre stage at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show, held from 1 to 6 October. The shipyard’s star in Genoa is the second unit of the Maiora 36 Exuma, the evolution of a model that has enjoyed significant international success. Delivered to her owner at the beginning of summer 2026, the yacht is the result of the collaboration between the shipyard and design studio Quartostile.
What sets the 36.90-metre Exuma apart in her class is a draft of just 1.45 metres, allowing her to reach bays, anchorages and shallow waters that are normally out of bounds for yachts of this size.
Her sporty character is driven by a powerful propulsion package: three 2,000 hp MAN V12 engines paired with two steerable MJP waterjets and a central MJP booster. The configuration delivers a top speed of 33 knots while balancing manoeuvrability and comfort. Gyroscopic stabilisers, working both at anchor and underway, keep life on board comfortable across a range of sea conditions. The yacht accommodates up to 12 guests in five cabins and five crew in three cabins.
The Genoa appearance caps a busy season for the group: the launch of Maiora’s new M Collection and Atelier Collection, its entry into the 50-metre all-metal superyacht segment, and the acquisition of SIMAN, a long-established specialist in metal fabrication and marine mechanical engineering. Next Yacht Group continues its international growth while preserving the identity of each of its brands.
