Marriott International signed the agreement to implement the first “national” review of The Ritz-Carlton Reserve brand in Shanghai’s North Bund region. Until now, only the brand, which misses with remote and untouched destinations, within the 103-storey mixed use tower with a height of 480 meters, will be included in the city life in 2030 with 110 rooms and suites overlooking Bund and Huangpu River.
President of the Luxury Department of Marriott Tina Edmundson associates the project as follows with the philosophy of the brand: “The Ritz-Carlton Reserve has always been related to creating rare and in-depth personal experiences that may only exist in the destination. ” This vision turns into a concept shaped in privacy, personalization, local culture and wellness axes; the private restaurant of the hotel, the space dedicated to Chinese cuisine and the spa area concrete this four principles.
The project is also the only city of Shanghai from Marriott to eight luxury brands – from JW Marriott to Bulgaria Hotels & Resorts. Deputy Chairman of SIIC Group Huang Haiping said “We are honored to collaborate in this project with Marriott International” that the partnership between two institutions is based on a long-term vision.
