Jaeger-LeCoultre is located in Zhangyuan W4 in Jing’an district of Shanghai, with the exhibition “Icatlar Valley” open to visit between September 10-23, Vallée de Joux. The brand chooses to tell the geography that has existed by many times from its own: the culture of skills developed to cope with hard winters of Hugenot masters, located in the 16th century, is the basis of an inheritance, which started very first from the workshop of Antoine LeCoultre. A pine tree sculpture from ice to special design that meets visitors in the entrance, transforms the history of the valley into a very sensory narration.
The exhibition is divided into four parts: the section, which follows the tradition of precision and chronometers from sea chronometers to Master Control Chronometer, 1946 models from Kalibre 170 to 2026 Master Grande Tradition, a multi-axis tour section, which tells the evolution of Gyrotourbillon, and the complication section represented by Duomètre to Kalibre 362. While HPG Lab introduces new precision certification protocol, four master craftsmen apply hand fatigue, enamel workmanship and perlaj techniques in front of the eye; Atelier d’Antoine workshops, which can join the booking, combine a complication watcher mechanism step by step.
The four Reverso Tribute Enamel model, which makes Asia premiere in the exhibition, is a gallery consisting of limited production “La Vallée des Merveilles” female capsule, new parts such as Atmos Régulateur and Marc Newson signed Memovox Travel Clock, as well as models of the collection from the middle of the 20th century. Jaeger-LeCoultre thus reveals the idea that the engineering culture can not be separated from the soil, but with a clear language — a rare invitation made in the roots of the watcher.
