McLaren spoke with a quiet but exact language at Monterey Car Week: McL 6GT is the first manual geared car produced since the legendary F1 in 1992 of the brand. The model, inspired by Bruce McLaren’s half-term M6GT project, is the clear example of the British manufacturer’s performance as a very sensory experience.
V8 motor is located in the heart of McL 6GT with push back, a transmission that is special attention to gear changing sensations and terrarium distance. On the top of the up-to-date gear, McLaren’s three-dimensional “Speedy Kiwi” ampblemi is being processed; Bruce McLaren signature in the engine partition and the ton-sur-ton chart of the historic M6GT plate is directly covered.
The model introduced as concept will pass to production in 2028. McLaren, in a era where automation facilitates everything, deliberately more responsibility to drive — and more pleasure — prefers to leave.
