Bottega Veneta is extending its ALTA fragrance collection, launched in June, with leather accessories inspired by the house’s signature Intrecciato weaving technique. The new capsule brings the scents directly together with the brand’s craftsmanship heritage.
Intrecciato Weaving Now Wraps the Fragrance Bottles Too
At the heart of the new collection is the Intrecciato Piccolo pouch, woven calfskin sized specifically for the 50 ml and 100 ml bottles, with a keychain version for the 10 ml size. A geometric cosmetic case and a gold-plated metal “Sardine” comb with a leather strap round out the capsule.
The ten-scent ALTA collection pairs Italian-origin ingredients with notes from other regions under the house’s “Intrecciato Duo” concept; Always Now pairs Italian basil with Madagascan vetiver, while Montebello pairs Italian citrus with North African neroli. The brand positions the project under the title “Craft in Motion.”
When choosing a leather pouch for a fragrance, look beyond a fit that matches the bottle size to the tightness of the weave: a well-made weave keeps the bottle from scratching through years of bags and travel.
