Q by Aston Martin announced a quiet yet impressive project with Aston Martin Newport Beach dealer in California: Heritage Edition. This collection consists of five cars that belong to the 1960s and 70-year of the British brand, each of which consists of a single example. This approach far from the show defines Aston Martin’s identity not with a new hood color, but with loyalty to his history.
Every vehicle in the collection matches a carefully selected color from the archive of the brand: The model of 1958 is inspired by DB4 brochure, the signature of the DB12 Volante in Pale Primrosene, DB4/DB5/DB6 triples painted with Pacific Blue DB12 Coupe, the metallic Tudor Green of the 1970s, Vanquish Coupe, inspired by the British towns of the era, Vantage Coupe in Winchester Blue and the choice of classic DB6s Vantage Roadster, which stands out with Mink Silver. The interior space beyond the hood is also carefully handled; perforated and pleated Q leather seats, armrested on the date Aston Martin emblem, dark walnut wood coatings and special Heritage Edition threshold plates details are completed.
Aston Martin Newport Beach General Manager Jeff West summarizes the project as follows: ‘Every Aston Martin tells a story and this Heritage Edition commissions celebrate some of the colors that define one of the most memorable periods of the brand.’ This five cars produced in a limited number reminds that luxury is not always inventing something new, sometimes only bringing the right moment back with the craft towards the right moment — a posture that matches exactly with the quiet luxury philosophy of The Mag Vault.
