The Italian yacht brand Riva under the roof of Ferretti Group announced the world premiere of 56′ Rivale Super before the opening of Cannes Yachting Festival (8-13 September). The boat will be exhibited at the Genoa International Boat Show in October.
Officina Italiana Design signed (Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta) in the design, the side grids matching with a new profile and body renance in the wind glass region. 17.27 meter boat reaches 34 knots maximum/28 knots cruise speed with standard twin MAN V8-1000 motors, 38 knots with optional V8-1200 configuration.
Rivale Super is expanding its performance envelope quietly without radically changing the lines of Riva — another example of the habit of updating with fine touches that the brand maintained for decades, not loudly.
