Geneva’s standalone watch workshop Czapek hidden in the last week of August -Geneva Watch Days’ arifenda- his color theory into the dial: Promenade Transparencies Aqua Blue. 38 millimeters steel case and 10,8 hours with millimeters fine; but the main thing is not size, how light is broken inside the glass. Sapphire crystal dial turns into a gradient blue with kneeling in different density of eight micron diameter points – with a technique that resembles the brush strokes of a painter if necessary.
At the heart of the watch, the clock master Daniel Martinez signed SXH7 caliber works: an automatic micro-rotor mechanism offers 28.800 vibration/hour frequency and 60-hour power reserve. Super-LumiNova watch signs with teal tone, connecting different layers of blue, Czapek’s design team from the principle of Van Gogh ‘s time contrast’ – inspired by each other when it comes to light and dark blue tones.
Promenade Transparencies Aqua Blue, limited to 38 pieces, waiting for collections at czapek.com and authorized sales points with price tag of 40.300 dollars (excluding taxes). For Czapek, this time draws gold of a quiet but stable posture: not a resulted complication, but the courage to transform the color itself into a mechanism.
