The watch industry, a meeting point of the luxury lifestyle world, has brought craft and collecting enthusiasts together at a comprehensive festival held in Türkiye for the first time. Organised by the Turkish Watch Club, the first Istanbul Watch Festival opened its doors at QNB Terminal Kadıköy.
Over Twenty Brands Under One Roof
Held over two days in roughly 1,000 square metres, the event featured more than twenty prestigious brands from Switzerland, Germany, Japan, Britain and Türkiye, spanning entry-level pieces to haute horlogerie. Visitors had the chance to examine the brands’ newest models and current collections up close.
More than a showcase for commercial products, the festival was conceived as a gathering that approaches watchmaking through design, engineering and collecting culture. Workshops, panels and live craft demonstrations gave attendees the chance to discover the finer points behind mechanical watches.
On the first day, a private reception hosted by Konyalı Saat brought together local and international industry professionals, collectors and watch enthusiasts. Completed with broad attendance, the event made a meaningful contribution to the development of watch culture in Türkiye and to hosting international-standard gatherings.
