Travel + Leisure, one of the most respected authorities on the global travel and luxury lifestyle scene, has published a comprehensive study focusing on new hotel restaurants for the first time. The “The 25 Best Hotel Restaurants in the World” selection, which meticulously evaluated 120 candidates from 17 different countries, brought together the most powerful addresses on the radar of the international gastronomy world.
A Contemporary Interpretation of Anatolian Heritage Meets the Bosphorus
Following its successful journey in world-leading luxury destinations such as Cannes and Dubai, Rüya İstanbul, established within the Çırağan Palace Kempinski Istanbul, became the only restaurant from Turkey to make it onto this prestigious list. Reinterpreting the deep-rooted and rich flavor heritage of Anatolia with a contemporary gastronomic language, the venue has captured the attention of international authorities with the unique experience it offers guests in the unparalleled atmosphere of the Bosphorus.
Ralph Radtke, General Manager of Çırağan Palace Kempinski Istanbul and Regional Director of Kempinski Residences Turkey, emphasized their belief in Istanbul’s global potential while bringing the project to life, stating that this global recognition, achieved before the restaurant’s first anniversary, is the product of a correct vision. Umut Özkanca, Vice Chairman of the Board of Doğuş Restaurant Entertainment and Management (d.ream), expressed his satisfaction that their effort to present the richness of Anatolian cuisine with a universal perspective has found resonance on an international platform.
This special gastronomic achievement, blended with Istanbul’s deep-rooted history and rich cultural fabric, has once again certified the city’s position on the global luxury travel map.
